The lower level is open-concept and cut into the ground to create a sightline directly across the property so the views are all about the landscape. This is such a great idea if there are hieight restrictions that need to be respected. It allows the house to be lower than average but gives you an amazing amount of light even when partially underground. Simple yet so effective.
